"Fantashia Benton on how BkzBakery began":
I've had a love for cheesecake for what seems to be my entire existence. My journey for finding a way to incorporate cheesecake started shortly after I'd had my son back in 2017. While working with a fruit and flowers company, I tried starting a company of my own, wondering how I could mix cheesecake and fruit in a way that hadn't been done. I slowly began experimenting with different fruits and flavors. In 2018, I 'd finally come up with the idea to stuff the apples. I worked hard over the years to perfect it. Once I did, I found myself with an amazing product new to the town and even the market. Unfortunately, hardship came when Covid hit and I was unable to continue the business, so I shut down along with other small business owners. I left it alone for quite some time, only fulfilling orders for close friends and relatives until 2022. That's when I decided to become more actively involved and invested. I believe this is when I came up with the Deviled Strawberries. Also working to perfect that product, we're now here, in 2026, where I have created and perfected many other products as well.
And there's more to come because this is where our journey truly begins, and that's with you! Since 2022, we've been able to share a part of world with yours for some fantastic experiences.
